SATURDAY: THE Excellence Black Tie Gala – 11/8/25
Saturday marks a historic milestone: for the first time ever, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra will headline with an R&B & Hip Hop Symphony performance. This groundbreaking show blends the power of a full orchestra with the rhythm of hip hop and the soul of R&B—an unforgettable centerpiece of the evening.
In addition to this debut, guests will experience:
Two comedy shows by BruhMan (Martin Lawrence Show) bringing laughter and nostalgia.
Live bands and multiple DJs driving the energy.
Artistic and literary showcases, and access to COSI’s 320,000 square feet of interactive exhibits.
Culinary Excellence: Tastings from Columbus’s top chefs and culinary artists.
Entertainment: Symphony, comedy, DJs, bands, and more.
Culture & Exploration: authors, art, and creative showcases.
The Gala begins at 7:00 p.m. and continues until midnight, followed by an after-party at 11:00 p.m. to keep the night alive.Highlights

Who is eligible to join the Business Development Program?
To participate in the Business Development Program, you must be 18 or older and reside in Columbus or Franklin County, Ohio. This ensures we are serving our local community with the greatest impact.
What does the Business Development Program include?
Our program provides free support for starting and growing your business, including:
- LLC registration and EIN acquisition
- Vendor licensing and compliance guidance
- Branding, website, and logo design support
- Resources for minority certification and access to funding
Is the Business Development Program really free?
Yes. All programs offered by the Now Foundation including our Business Development Program, networking events, and Now Foundation Symposium - are completely free of charge.
Can people outside of Columbus or Franklin County participate in any activities?
Yes. While the Business Development Program is limited to Columbus and Franklin County residents, everyone is welcome to attend our events, workshops, and networking socials.
What is the Now Foundation Symposium?
The Now Foundation Symposium is a quarterly professional development event featuring expert-led panels and hands-on workshops focused on:
